What a great book!! I am so proud of you and hope to get book #2 someday. Your faith has always been an inspiration to me and to many people, many of whom you do not realize that have crossed your path. God always has a plan, thanks to Him for yours.

Received my book! You now have to come to my house to do laundry, cook and clean because I can't put it down. I love the way it is written! I have laughed, cried and recalled things happy and sad in my life. Can't wait to finish and for book 2. Thank you!

I might be a little biased, as I am their daughter, Diana. However, the book reads very well. I've learned so much about our Country and the amazing things the United States has to offer. In school, I never learned the things that my parents are discovering and now I want to tour the USA in search of discovery too! I also learned many new things about my parents that I never knew. They completely open themselves up to who they are, their faith, and the love of America. Would highly recommend this book to anyone, regardless of their beliefs. Only disappointment, it ended before their journey did! Looking forward to the next book, so that I may ride along in their RV, if only in spirit!

Absolutely loved this book. I learned so much about these people , (who I already knew!) . I could actually picture them bickering over the malfunctioning steps! I have a new found appreciation for just how important ones faith can be. The history lessons are so much more fun then they were in school. Looking forward to the next book. Be safe, and travel on.

Great read May 20, 2017 Enjoyed the book. Never knew there were so many places to tour for free and that there were so many less expensive places to stay while sharing their faith with others.

Best book I have ever read I can't put its down!

Great book. Written very well. It is hard to put down! You have to get this book. It is well worth your time!!!

BySusanon July 31, 2017 Lugene Hammond shares stories of her and husband Larry's travels, their life and their faith. It is an inspiring read - and full of helpful information too. This couple has lived an interesting life, touched by deep sadness, but also much happiness. I truly enjoyed reading this first book and I am looking forward to book two. My husband and I were very fortunate to meet Lugene and Larry at a campground in Rhode Island this past June. We wish them safe travels as they continue on His road trip.

Just finished the 2 Ned book of the series. For those who have an RV the book is a great resource of information for traveling this beautiful country. Highly recommend even if you don't own an RV.

John reviewed His Road Trip: An Aspiring Adventure Across America Good at time and disappointing in others October 16, 2017 What I liked about the book were the occasional tips, tricks, challenges and successes while camping even in the RV they explained. There is a level of effort put into camping to make it convenient, comfortable and fun. My family camps. They explained all of that rather well. The book was also a good promoter of our national parks which I support too. I have questions about their faith and testimony. I wish there would have been more details about the actual ministry. Putting a sign on the side of the RV and leaving tracks and seeds is fine, but I wanted to know what kind of detailed response they received. There was not enough detail for me. I respected their view on consuming alcohol. They had no problem having one drink and calling it enough. At one point in the book she states they are "not gamblers" but they still walked into casinos and used less than $50, or whatever the small amount was. I still call that gambling. You walk in, you put the money down to play the game. You are a gambler. Amount does not matter. Yes, it takes faith to be a sower of seeds. Farmers sow seeds and see the results of their labors at the end of each harvest. However, most sowers of the gospel will not become fully aware of the results of their labors this side of heaven, especially when you're only someplace for a few days. God will water the seeds.
